I really like this ESL website. It is very helpful for home practice because your child can listen to correct productions over and over again. If your child is working on the vocalic r encourage listening to the vowel productions as well.

Read any of the areas (Noise, Noise & Toys, etc...) to learn more about noise and the negative impact on hearing. 
In addition, visit http://www.noisyplanet.nidcd.nih.gov for assorted tidbits of information and http://www.listentoyourbuds.org to to educate your child about listening safety.
